No More Hiding – It’s time to Shine Your Light and Reclaim You

The title song of the movie, entitled This is Me and sung by the passionate and talented Keala Settle, is extraordinary. The words expressing what 2018 is about for so many of us.
This is the real, this is me
I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be now
Gonna let the light
Shine on me
Now I found
Who I am
There’s no way to hold it in
No more hiding who I want to be
This is me
When we decide to be who we are really meant to be, when we reclaim the essence of our authentic selves, which has often been shattered by the people, words and events of our past, that’s the moment we stop hiding.
And when we stop hiding we become a magnet for people who are seeking the same authenticity in their lives – the types of client you want, the team you want in your business, the opportunities you are looking for, the relationship you want … That is the truth of the Law of Attraction
A few years ago, I was delivering a talk to a group of female business leaders… and in it I said, “Change doesn’t happen to you… it happens through you.”
We must become the change we seek – and we reflect what we believe.
Whether you want to start a new business, improve your business, begin a new relationship or improve a current relationship…the answer to what you seek, always begins and ends with you. You attract to you what you believe about you.
To find the answers we need we must ask the difficult questions:
Who am I really? What is important to me? How do I measure what success is in my life? How do I show up each day? Who are the people I want to surround myself with? Who are the people I want to release from my life? What am I going to start saying ‘No’ too…and start saying ‘Hell Yes’ too?
In the blog I wrote last week about my review of my one-word theme for 2017, I shared how what you choose to focus on, and believe about yourself, expresses in ways that we often cannot explain.
My word for 2017 was Prosperity, which I thought was a ‘thing’ I had to do. On review of the year, I realised it was a state of being, that when I embraced a prosperity consciousness all manner of opportunities, people and money flowed.
When I stepped out from the shadows of what I ‘thought’ I needed to be – I attracted people and opportunities that reflected my state of being.
The challenge we all face is to have the courage to be authentically who we are, to rise above the noise and share our authentic voice with courage and conviction.
To speak our truth about who we are, what we offer and what we bring to the world.
And when we do so, we create the space that will attract what and who we really want.
This is the real, this is me
I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be now
